Job Duties: Resolve complex Database queries and software routines as needed for both the application development as well as data analysis and troubleshooting. Coordinate and link the Database and Reporting systems within an organization in increase compatibility. Utilize standard modeling tools to test, maintain, and monitor computer applications and systems. Perform data analysis and design for all phases of software development lifecycle including collecting requirements and writing system deliverables. Analyze and identify technology and business solutions to meet IT and business standards. Coordinate review, design, and programming of clients' applications. Develop and document detailed technical specification documents and converting them to functional, system requirements. Provide assistance and training to end-users to solve data related problems such as malfunctions and data integrity issues. Write programs to generate various types of reports systematically based on the requirement. Create and execute test cases, prepare test plans and test reports, and create database objects like tables, sequences, constraints, function, procedures, packages triggers, views and materialized views and also create the reporting objects as per business requirements. Resolve complex queries and software routines for application development and troubleshooting. Position will utilize the following tools and technologies on a daily basis: web based applications, reporting, web services, unified modeling languages, Oracle 11i/10g/9i, SQL, PLSQL, MS SQL server, Teradata, Netezza, XML/BI Publisher, Conversions, Toad, PL-SQL Developer, Visio, QTP, Clear Case/Quest, PPM, XML, CSS, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, VB Script, SharePoint, and Shell/Perl scripts, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SSRS, SSIS.
Position requires up to 30% domestic travel.

Requirements: Position requires a Master' s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field of study and one (1) year of experience pre or post Master' s degree in the software industry.

Job Duties: Perform data analysis and design for all phases of software development lifecycle including collecting requirements and writing system deliverables; Use standard modeling tools to test, maintain and monitor computer applications and systems; Analyze, investigate RCA for major incidents, providing fixes and testing it in lower environments; Implement Queue managers, channels, subscriptions, security exits to integrate with external clients; Analyze and identify technology and business solutions to meet IT and business standards; Implement SSL certs on MQ channels for communication with external clients; Implement configuration manager, Brokers, Queue Managers, define Objects, channels, SSL, Clustering, shared channels, shared objects; Experience in MQ Clustering, MQ Client/MQ Server setup, MQ System Administration, user training and documentation; Coordinate review, design and programming of clients' applications; Patch and upgrade infrastructure to fix vulnerabilities and add new features to products; Develop and document detailed technical specification documents; create and execute test cases; Prepare test plans and test reports; Create Monitors, Agents, channels and subscriptions as part of MQFTE infrastructure to provide file transfer mechanism and file sync solutions across the data centers; Resolving client issues related to WebSphere MQ and MQFTE when building new infrastructure, rollout MQ and MQFTE infrastructure from lower environments to QA and Production systems; Building automation to administering and managing MQ and MQFTE by using shell scripting and MQ tools. Configure Capitalware security exit (MQAUSX) to provide authentication between two end points; Work for real time messaging, mint and global transaction exchange applications used for swift messaging for clients. Experience in monitoring tools like IR360, Tivoli and BMC monitoring to keep track of availability of all MQ products; Throughout position will utilize the following tools and technologies on a daily basis: IBM MQ, MQFTE, MQAUSX, UFM, TIBCO EMS, WebSphere, SQL, IR360, LifeKeeper, MQMON, Capitalware security exits, Java, SSL certs, Tivoli, WebLogic, BMC, Servicenow, Solaris, RedHat Linux, Windows and Shell scripting; Required to have a good knowledge of messaging systems. Required to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system, and data processes. Very systematic approach towards problem solving, troubleshooting and resolving issues with challenging deadlines. Involved with the full cycle of Software development from gathering requirements, planning, documentation, design, testing to implementation.
